I had a mixed experience at this resort. The location is great, just a short ferry ride away from a beautiful beach, and the renovated room I had overlooked the pool was nice. However, the service was a bit slow and the dining options were pretty limited, especially when it came to seafood. Overall, it was a decent stay but not without its flaws.

Our stay at Pelican Bay was highlighted by exceptional customer service from the staff, especially during a stressful car battery issue. The rooms were spacious and clean, featuring great views. While we enjoyed the nice facilities like the pools, the dining experience could have been better as we faced some inconsistencies in service and food availability. Overall, a lovely stay but with some room for improvement in service coordination.

My experience at this hotel was mixed. While the area and complex boast beautiful surroundings, the lack of a direct beach access made things a bit inconvenient. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, but I encountered a strong mold smell that was hard to overlook. On a positive note, the restaurant served delicious meals, but the limited soup portions were a letdown.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 11 nights, and while the location was convenient for diving with UNEXSO, my experience was quite frustrating. The room we received was newly renovated but didn't meet expectations, and the breakfast situation was a daily hassle with multiple billing issues. The overall service felt disorganized, which detracted from the comfort of our stay. On a positive note, the Sabor Restaurant on-site was enjoyable, and the diving experience was fantastic.

Rooms
6.0
The room we stayed in was newly assigned due to renovations, but it didn’t quite match the expectations set by the booking. It looked nice at first, but it lacked essential comforts and had issues like flooding from the bathroom.
Service

Dining

Dining options were limited, with breakfast often running out and the restaurant not able to accommodate our larger group during peak hours. The on-site restaurant, Sabor, was a nice option, but it wasn't particularly kid-friendly.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had basic facilities, but many areas felt like they needed attention and improvements. The main attraction was the access to Taino Beach, which was lovely.

The hotel has a wonderful location near the marina and is very convenient for divers, with many nearby restaurants and access to water taxis. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms were commendable, but the service and dining experience left much to be desired. Overall, it has potential, but some aspects need serious improvement, especially in room maintenance and dining variety.
